Job Summary:
Our client, a reputable technology service distribution company, is seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Accounts Executive to join their finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting daily accounting functions, ensuring accuracy in financial records, preparing reports, processing transactions and assisting with audits and reconciliations. This role requires a strong grasp of accounting principles, excellent numerical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record and process financial transactions including invoices, receipts, payments and expenses.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and ledgers.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable activities.
- Liaise with vendors and clients regarding payment follow-ups and invoice clarifications.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory financial reporting requirements.
- Support internal and external audit processes by preparing required documents and reports.
- Assist in the implementation and monitoring of internal controls and accounting procedures.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification (e.g., ICAN, ACCA) is compulsory.
- 4–6 years of relevant experience in a finance or accounting role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards (IFRS/GAAP).
- Proficiency in accounting software, especially SAGE 300.
- Excellent analytical, communication and organizational skills.
- High level of accuracy, integrity and attention to detail.
