Job Summary
- A reputable Microfinance Bank in Maryland, Lagos is seeking to engage a highly experienced Treasury & Creditors Relations Manager to oversee liquidity management, cash flow planning, funding activities, and creditor relationships.
- The ideal candidate will ensure optimal liquidity levels, regulatory compliance with CBN guidelines, and maintain strong relationships with creditors, correspondent banks, and financial partners to support sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the Bank’s daily liquidity, cash flow, and funding positions.
- Monitor compliance with CBN liquidity ratios and treasury regulations.
- Oversee treasury operations including placements, investments, borrowings, and funding arrangements.
- Build and manage relationships with creditors, correspondent banks, and funding institutions.
- Prepare treasury, liquidity, and funding reports for management and regulatory bodies.
- Support budgeting processes, cash flow forecasting, and funding strategy development.
- Ensure adherence to internal treasury policies and regulatory requirements.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Professional certification (ACA, ACCA, CFA, or equivalent) is an added advantage.
- 7–12 years’ relevant experience in treasury, funding, or banking operations within a regulated financial institution, preferably a Microfinance Bank.
- Strong understanding of CBN regulations and liquidity management frameworks.
- Excellent analytical, financial modeling, and stakeholder management skills.
- High level of integrity and attention to detail.
